Radiy Khabirov instructed to develop Health and Active Longevity Year plan in more detail

On February 15, at a briefing session in the Government, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, did not accept the report of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Family, Labor and Social Protection RB Lenara Ivanova on the plan for holding the Year of Health and Active Longevity in the republic.

Recall that 2021 in the region has been declared the Year of Health and Active Longevity and is aimed at reducing mortality, improving the quality and life expectancy of the population.

The Head of the Republic said that the vice-premier in her report on such a vital topic did not suggest specific measures to reduce mortality in the region.

According to Khabirov, it is necessary to carry out more detailed work with the Ministry of Health on the causes of mortality, and for each of them, make up a plan to reduce the indicators.

"This is a big governmental challenge", Radiy Khabirov summed up.
