Radiy Khabirov: we will build more than 530 new medical facilities in next 5 years

18.5 billion rubles will be spent in the next five years on large-scale modernization of primary health care. In Bashkortostan, more than 530 new medical institutions will be built, 70 will undergo overhaul repairs. The Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, posted on his social media that very often residents complain about the state of our hospitals and polyclinics. Many buildings were built 50-60 years ago, they are grim and short on space, and there is obsolete equipment. According to the Head of the region, these complaints are justified - residents should visit comfortable medical facilities and receive quality health care.
"This year, we are completing two significant facilities - a large polyclinic in Birsk (a children's clinic for 200 visits and an adult for 400 visits) and a polyclinic for 250 visits in the Chekmagush village. We plan to commission them in 2021. Moreover, in 2022, we will complete four more large construction projects - surgical buildings in the Uchalinskaya city hospital and the Ufa cardiology center, as well as polyclinics at the Kuvatov Republican Clinical Hospital and in Zaton. In parallel, in 2021, we will begin to build the Republican Center for Pediatric Oncology and Hematology and a children's polyclinic in Baymak. The goal towards which we are slowly but confidently moving is that our doctors work, and patients are treated in comfortable conditions throughout the republic", Radiy Khabirov posted.
