Bashkiria residents began to travel less abroad and pay attention to domestic tours: opinion

On February 10, a fact-finding tour was organized along the tourist route Birsk-Bakhtybaevo. This is an ethnographic tour to Bakhtybaevo village, which was mentioned by the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov on his blog among the All-Russian Prize winners for the best tourist routes in Russia - 2020. In the nomination "Best Ethnographic Route", the company "Mir Bez Granits" (World without Borders) and "Birskie Kuptsy" (Birsk Merchants) with the project "Birsk - Bakhtybaevo. Merchants, Craftsmen" took third place. On February 10, tourists will be able to get acquainted with the customs, culture, and traditions of the Russian people and the Mari people on the territory of Bashkiria.

"Before the pandemic, Muscovites repeatedly came to Birsk and Bakhtybaevo. A delegation from the Republic of Mari El will arrive here soon; a large flow is coming from Ufa and Sterlitamak. The first part of the excursion takes place in Birsk, the second, 21 kilometers from the city, in the village of Bakhtybaevo. There are many interesting stories and legends on the route, including the four-generation folk song ensemble "Kalinushka". Daughter, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother sing old Cossack songs that one cannot find on the Internet. "Kalinushka" is the winner of the XIII International Festival "Days of Russia in Alicante", organized with the support of the Russian Embassy in Spain," the author of the route, Sergey Smirnov, said.

According to him, in connection with the anti-coronavirus regime relaxation, the work of the ethnic tour is intensifying, and in 2021 the route will be presented in a 2-day tour.
