Increase in influenza and ARVI incidence is observed in Bashkiria

In Bashkortostan, there is a tendency towards an increase in the incidence of influenza and ARVI. 24,483 people fell ill with ARVI in the republic, from February 1 to February 7. This is 1.2% more than in the previous week. In Ufa, the number of cases was 6774 (a decrease of 14%).

“The incidence rate in the republic is 21% above the epidemic threshold due to the incidence among the adult population, in Ufa - at the level of the epidemic threshold. About 50% of the cases are children under 17 years of age,” the press service of the Rospotrebnadzor of Bashkiria explained.

During the fifth week of this year, 346 people were tested for influenza and ARVI viruses. The share of positive findings was 10.7% of the number of tests.
