Coronavirus cases exceeded 25 thousand people in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, 164 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed over the past day, the republican Ministry of Health reports.

In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, over 25,073 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the republic.

There are 343 patients with the coronavirus in Bashkiria hospitals; 47 of them are in serious condition. About 5.5 thousand people are treated at home.

"Over the past 24 hours, one case of death from COVID-19 has been registered in the republic," the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria states. "196 people have died since the beginning of the pandemic."

Meanwhile, 210 cases of community-acquired pneumonia were confirmed in the region over the past day. On the contrary, 179 people were discharged from hospitals with recovery, the Ministry of Health said.
