Bashkir honey was sent to Antarctica

Bashkir honey was sent to the South Polis of the Earth.
A member of the 66th Russian Antarctic Expedition, a graduate of the Ufa Higher Military School of Pilots, Alexander Prokopyev took with him three liters of Bashkir honey.
In early April, the expedition will land at the Novolazarevskaya station.
The journey to the station will take almost two and a half months. The ship will stop for refueling and replenishment of food in the port of the German city of Bremerhaven and the South African Cape Town. At the final stage, three other Antarctic stations will come in - Mirny, Progress, and Molodezhnaya - to replace the wintering staff and unload the brought cargo.
Alexander took with him things weighing about 50 kg.
“These are mainly personal hygiene products, clothes for different seasons, shoes and underwear for a period of one and a half years. It is a whole backpack with equipment - a laptop, a camera, a flashlight, some tools for work, all sorts of chargers, and a whole bundle of wires. The expedition organizers provided each of us with warm seasonal uniforms - it also turned out to be a solid bag of 25 kilograms. I also took three kilograms of Bashkir honey with me,” Alexander said.
