9 digital education centers "IT-Cube" will be created in Bashkiria by end of 2022

By the end of 2022, 9 IT-Cube digital education centers for children will be created in Bashkortostan cities and regions, the press service of the Head of Bashkortostan reports. In particular, digital education centers for children will appear in Sterlitamak in 2021 and in Neftekamsk, Sibay, Kumertau, Beloretsk, as well as in the north-east of the region in 2022.
Yesterday, Radiy Khabirov visited the center, which opened in 2020 within the national project "Education" in the multilingual multidisciplinary school No. 162 "Smart".
It was allocated 13.2 million rubles on the "IT-Cube" creation, of which 12.9 million rubles - from the federal budget.
IT-Cube is a completely new format of additional education for schoolchildren. Its activity aims to develop relevant and demanded knowledge, skills, and competencies in information and telecommunication technologies.
The enrollment of future programmers continues, and students from all Ufa schools can study in the laboratories.
Radiy Khabirov toured the laboratories of programming in Java and Python, cyber-hygiene, system administration, mobile development, and virtual reality, talked with students and teachers.
Also, Radiy Khabirov visited the new polylingual kindergarten No. 202 in the Ufa "Yarkiy" neighborhood today. The institution has been operating since mid-January 2021; it is designed for 180 kids.
The Head of Bashkortostan noted that the republic would continue to work actively to create a vast network of multilingual institutions whose students are fluent in their native and foreign languages, have various competencies, and receive a quality education.
