195 people died from COVID-19 in Bashkiria since pandemic beginning

Over the past day, 165 new coronavirus infection cases have been confirmed in Bashkiria, the republican Ministry of Health reports.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, more than 24.9 thousand COVID-19 cases have been registered in the region.

Today, 405 patients with coronavirus are in hospitals of the republic, 52 of whom are in serious condition. More than 5.4 thousand people are treated at home.

"Over the past day, two deaths from COVID-19 have been registered in the republic," the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria states. "195 people have died since the beginning of the pandemic."

Meanwhile, in the region over the past day, 259 cases of community-acquired pneumonia were confirmed. 162 people were discharged from hospitals with recovery.
