Rospotrebnadzor named three countries suitable for travel

All indicators for assessing the epidemiological situation for COVID-19 correspond to the norm only in three countries with regular flights with Russia - Tanzania, Ethiopia, Seychelles, RIA Novosti reports citing a statement from Rospotrebnadzor.

“As of 13.12.2020, the epidemiological situation meets all the criteria only in Seychelles, Tanzania, and Ethiopia, according to two of the three criteria - in Kyrgyzstan, Egypt, Cuba, and the Maldives, one of the three - in the UK, UAE, Republic of Korea, Serbia, Japan,” the Rospotrebnadzor said in a statement.

To assess the epidemiological situation in other countries, Rospotrebnadzor examines the incidence rates of COVID-19 over the past two weeks, the average daily growth rate, and the volume of coronavirus testing. The spreading factor must be less than 1.

Russia resumed regular flights with 16 countries; these are Turkey, Great Britain, Tanzania, Switzerland, UAE, Maldives, Egypt, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, South Korea, Serbia, Cuba, Japan, Seychelles, and Ethiopia.
