Radiy Khabirov will fulfill wishes of three Bashkiria residents

The Head of Bashkiria will become a Grandfather Frost for three residents of the republic. Radiy Khabirov will fulfill the wishes of two teenagers and a pensioner.

Nine-year-old Mikhail Manulin dreams of an electron microscope, and 15-year-old Roman Shchekaturov dreams of an adult tricycle. 65-year-old Tatyana Bulankina wants to have a tablet with a large screen as a gift. The Head of the Region took off these three balls with notes inserted in them from the "New-Year's Tree of Wishes", which is installed in the "Bashkortostan" State Concert Hall.

"I will definitely fulfill these three wishes," Radiy Khabirov said. "This is really a very good project implemented at the initiative of the President of the country Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. This is especially important in the difficult year of 2020. People should not suffer because of the issues that we face in connection with the pandemic. That is why the Government of the republic made a decision that each of us will come here, take off a ball from the tree, and fulfill a wish written in it. And these are the dreams of young children and older people with disabilities who are waiting for a miracle on New Year's Eve. Our task is to make this miracle happen".

The goal of the All-Russian campaign "New-Year's Tree of Wishes" is to make the New Year's dreams of orphans, children from low-income families, and elderly people with a life-threatening health condition come true. Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, gave a start to this campaign on December 5 this year.

Applications were accepted from November 16 to December 15. More than 500 applications with wishes were received from Bashkortostan on the website of the campaign. They will be fulfilled until February 28.
