More than 2700 New Year's grounds were built in Bashkiria

More than 2,700 New Year's grounds have been built in Bashkiria - significantly more than in previous years, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Housing and Utility Services Boris Belyaev said at a briefing session in the government. This is done for pandemic conditions to avoid crowds. All sites should be under the control of antiCOVID inspectors, the Deputy Prime Minister said.

In total, 1220 ice towns have been built in the republic, 709 festive sites at shopping centers, schools, parks, and squares, 800 sites in the courtyards of residential buildings.

According to the Ministry of Culture of Bashkiria, more than 20 thousand events will take place during the New Year holidays, of which 9 thousand will be online, and a significant part is planned open-air. The calendar of New Year's events will be ready on the portal "The Cultural World of Bashkortostan" on December 25.

According to the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy, more than 500 institutions will work during the New Year holidays: sports schools, teenage clubs, Youth Recreation Centers. Most sporting events are also planned to be held open-air.
