Rosstat announced 36% increase in mortality in Bashkiria in October 2020

In Bashkiria, according to Rosstat, mortality increased in October. This indicator has increased by 36% compared to last year.

It is reported that 6045 people died in the republic in October, which is 1601 more than in October 2019.

Besides, from January to October this year, 5,710 more people died than in the same period last year.

According to Rosstat, nine people became victims of COVID-19 in October. Whereas, according to the reports of the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria, 13 people died from the coronavirus this month.
