Kuvatov Republican Clinical Hospital began to vaccinate its employees against coronavirus in Ufa

In Ufa, the Kuvatov Republican Clinical Hospital began to vaccinate its employees against coronavirus. The head physician of the hospital, Shamil Bulatov, announced this on his Instagram page.

"The team of our hospital has joined the large-scale vaccination against the coronavirus infection. This is already a reality. Moreover, it is the most long-awaited vaccination in recent years," he posted.

The physician noted that those who are at the most risks of becoming infected are vaccinated first. These are employees of the reception and diagnostic department, medical departments, and an advisory clinic. Each of them undergoes a standard medical examination before being vaccinated. They should not have signs of infectious diseases or exacerbation of chronic ailments and undergo tests for antibodies' presence.

The next administration of the second component of the drug, according to Shamil Bulatov, is scheduled for the last days of the outgoing year.

"Yes, vaccination does not guarantee that a person will not get infected. However, if they catch this infection, the disease will not become severe. Take care of yourself and be healthy," the head physician of the Republican Clinical Hospital added.
