South-East Employment Center in Sterlitamak became pilot project for personnel centers in Russian Federation

In 2019, a pilot project of the South-Eastern Interdistrict Employment Center was implemented in Sterlitamak. The volume of financing as part of the federal project "Support to Employment and Improving the Labor Market Efficiency to Ensure the Labor Productivity Growth" amounted to 39.5 million rubles last year.
Yesterday, during his working trip, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, examined the Employment Center work and the large-scale reconstruction carried out there.
According to the First Deputy Minister of Family, Labor and Employment RB, Yuri Melnikov, the approaches to the service itself have completely changed: the interior has become modern and accessible to all categories of citizens. The center is equipped for citizens with disabilities; there is a children's area for visitors who come with children.
The personnel center premises are divided into functional areas; there are waiting rooms and rooms for citizens and employers' individual appointments. Rooms are also equipped for group consultations, training sessions, master classes, presentations, and interviews.
The Employment Center accommodates a digital services sector, which provides visitors with access to the information and analytical system "Work in Russia", the network of business contacts "Skillsnet", "The integrated portal of state and municipal services (functions)", the regional portal. Personal computers with Internet access are also located here.
The second floor was allocated for career development and individual work with employers, equipped with rooms for group studies. When modernizing the employment service, modern ergonomic trends in visual navigation were taken into account.
At present, the complex includes 35 services, of which 13 are new services (for example, for women with children, a new service is "Enrollment in a kindergarten", "Assistance in finding a babysitter," and others). When registering on the portal "Work in Russia", citizens were provided with more than 5 thousand consultations, employers - more than 400.
The Head of the Republic was told that during the pandemic, the workload on employees increased significantly. Whereas in the normal period there were 70 people per employee, now there are 500 unemployed.
Radiy Khabirov positively assessed the changes taken place in the Employment Center.
According to the results of its work, it is no coincidence that the South-Eastern Interdistrict Employment Center took second place in Russia.
"Currently, in the Ordzhonikidze neighborhood of Ufa, work is underway to launch the second such modern employment center. We were able to separate all flows and create all the conveniences for visitors using modern technologies. Such centers also contribute to the reduction of unemployment. In total, today, 114 thousand people are considered unemployed in the republic; over the past two months, we have managed to reduce it by 14 thousand people," said Yuri Melnikov.
