Bashkir honey hit Top Three in Tastes of Russia competition of regional brands

The winners of the First National Competition of Regional Food Brands "Tastes of Russia" were announced live today. Bashkir honey hit the Top Three in one of the biggest nominations, "All over the country".

We remind that 26 national products were presented from Bashkortostan, the most significant number among all Russian regions. The winners were determined in 8 nominations, the most popular of which was the popular vote, which lasted from November 19 to December 2. Russians have cast over a million votes for their favorite foods. In the last days of voting, Bashkir honey confidently reached the Top 10, demonstrating good vote growth. As a result, our brand failed to win here, but it was named in the top ten out of 508 applications in 79 regions of the country.

The Senator from Bashkortostan, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture Liliya Gumerova, announced the "All over the country " nomination winners.

"I am thrilled to announce that Bashkir honey has taken third place in the nomination," she said.

Note that the second and first places went to Adygei cheese and Vologda butter. Our brands also had a good chance of winning in the "From Our Village" nomination. Bashkir korot (a fermented milk product) and mineral water "Kurgazak" were included in the Top 10 here.
