Craftsman of Year will be announced in Bashkiria on December 12

On December 12, the winners of the Craftsman of the Year 2020 competition will be announced in Bashkiria, the press service of the State Committee for Entrepreneurship RB reported.

The Craftsman of the Year competition aims to develop and support the creative industry and commercialize the industry.

“On December 3, the second stage of the Craftsman of the Year competition took place. Based on the participants' applications and presentation materials, the jury conducted a preliminary selection of masters for the final of the competition,” Aigul Valiakhmetova, the head of the Center for Folk Arts and Crafts of SME Development Agency RB said.

The third stage of the Craftsman of the Year 2020 competition will take place from December 7 to 9. The finalists of the competition will present the originals of the competition works.

At the fourth stage, the jury will select the laureates of the nominations.

The final of the competition, the announcement of the results, and the awarding ceremony will be held on December 12.

“The competition program also provides for masterclasses, shows, and defile of national costumes with a demonstration of products by artisans,” added Aigul Valiakhmetova.

The Craftsman of the Year competition is being held as part of a national project to support SMEs in the region, developed on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
