11 patients are on lung ventilation, 17 - in intensive care: Bashkiria Health Ministry reported COVID-19 statistics

The Ministry of Health of Bashkiria reported data on the number of COVID-19 infected on December 7.

According to the acting Minister of Health of the region, Dinara Enikeeva, the number of new coronavirus infection cases has increased to 15 265 people. Over the past day, the increase was 144 people, the number of deaths increased by 2 and is 92 people.

48% of cases are people aged 26-50 years, 22% are residents aged 51-60 years.

580 people stay in hospitals. 11 patients are connected to lung ventilators, 17 people are in intensive care units. 2,174 residents are mildly ill and are undergoing outpatient treatment.

4,252 patients are currently being treated in infectious diseases hospitals. 22% of the bed capacity is occupied, Dinara Enikeeva explained.
