Official number of deaths from COVID-19 increased to 85 in Bashkiria

The Ministry of Health of Bashkiria has published updated statistics on the incidence of the new coronavirus infection. According to the ministry, over the past day, the number of deaths has increased by two and now stands at 85 people. Details about the comorbidities of the deceased have not yet been disclosed.

In total, 14,548 people were tested positively for COVID-19 in the republic since the beginning of the pandemic. The increase per day was 142 new cases. 549 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals, 1774 at home. 43 people are in serious condition, 11 need the support of mechanical ventilation.

Since March 2020, 12 140 residents of Bashkiria have coped with the infection. During the day, 131 people were discharged with recovery.

The statistics of the incidence of community-acquired pneumonia in the region is stable: 427 new cases per day, 433 were discharged.
