Bashkir honey hit Top 10 on last voting day of "Tastes of Russia" competition

December 2 is the last day of voting for the best national brand at the "Tastes of Russia" competition. According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkiria, the country's inhabitants have cast about 900 thousand votes at the moment.

The top 10 at the beginning of the day included "Syry Podmoskovya" (Moscow Region Cheeze), "Buryatskie Buuz", "Dagestanskaya Lamb", "Posadskaya Kovrizhka" (Gingerbread), "Michurinskie Apples", "Izhevsk Vegetable Chips", "Balkarskie Khychiny" (Flatbread), "Bashkir Honey", "Penza Almonds with Herbs" and "Ladozhskie Dried Crust".

By the end of the penultimate day of voting, "Bashkir Honey" won 19,200 votes and has a very real chance to noticeably improve its position if residents of the republic join the vote.

In terms of the total number of votes cast for all 26 Bashkir brands, the region is in second place after the Moscow region with 54 thousand votes.

The deputies of Kurultay also called on to vote for native brands.
