Radiy Khabirov about Ufa embankment: "Our colleagues plans are ambitious but quite realistic"

The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, spoke about a new concept for the Ufa embankment development.
According to him, a few days ago a special working group headed by Deputy Head of the Chief of Staff of republican administration Rinat Bashirov, President of the Dasko Group of Companies Alexander Antonov, Adviser to the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Olga Sarapulova considered proposals of representatives of the public and opinion leaders and developed a concept for the embankment development.
Radiy Khabirov posted some illustrations from the proposed concept presentation, which have been prepared using world analogs.
"All these ideas can be accepted only after a broad discussion, to which I invite all residents of Ufa. Send your suggestions to the mail of the Institute of Urban Development of Bashkortostan: [email protected]", he addressed his followers.
Earlier, Ufa restaurateur Alexander Antonov, invited by Radiy Khabirov to oversee the development of the embankment space, told the Bashinform News Agency that the new development concept implied the comprehensive development of the space and its year-round use based on public-private partnership.
Much attention in the development of this area is supposed to be paid to sports. The author of the concept believes that an entire sports cluster can be created on the embankment, including grounds for mini-football, hockey, and volleyball. In their development, he counts on the help of professional sports clubs: FC "Ufa", HC "Salavat Yulaev", as well as on support from major sports brands.
Antonov sees a cable car as one of the key objects attracting visitors; similar ones operate in Moscow on Vorobyovy Gory and in Tbilisi. However, it is not easy to build it by entrepreneurs' efforts, like many other objects - the participation of the state is required.
