Bashkiria will receive first 1000 doses of antiCOVID vaccines next week

Next week, Bashkortostan is to receive the first batch of vaccines against coronavirus infection in the amount of 1000 doses. The Minister of Health of the Republic, Maxim Zabelin, said that the department was preparing for the transportation and storage of the antiCOVID vaccine. First of all, doctors and social workers will be vaccinated.

"Include in the vaccination plan police officers who participate in self-isolation checks, mask regimes, and may directly interact with potentially infected people. And for the future, prepare a reserve for teachers and university professors. All our measures for self-isolation and mask regime have a positive effect: we have a slowdown in the growth rate of COVID-19 infection," said the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov.

We will remind, on November 24, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government Tatyana Golikova said that voluntary mass vaccination in the country would begin in 2021. First of all, the drug will be given to citizens from risk groups - health workers and teachers.

Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that mass vaccination could begin before the New Year.

From November 16 in Bashkortostan, they began to issue free medicines to those who are being treated for coronavirus at home, at the expense of federal funds, and for privileged categories - at the expense of the republican budget. A total of 2,119 patients received medicines free of charge. Speaking about vaccinations, Maxim Zabelin reported that 1.5 million people had been vaccinated against influenza in the republic, making about 38 percent of Bashkortostan's inhabitants. The vaccination campaign against pneumococcal infection continues. The vaccine is primarily given to the elderly, those with chronic diseases, and conscripts.
