Wedding cake of pastry chef from Bashkiria is recognized as best in Russia

The wedding cake of the Bashkir pastry chef was recognized as the best in the country, the press service of the republican Ministry of Trade reported.

The pastry chef from Bashkiria Yekaterina Burdygina became the winner of the First All-Russian Contest in Culinary and Service "Legend" held in Perm. Her wedding cake was awarded a 1st-degree diploma in the discipline "Art class".

According to Ekaterina Burdygina, in 2011, she opened the Tartollina cookery, where cakes are baked only from local products. She participated in the nationwide competition for the first time.

In the final, 15 participants from the regions of Russia presented their cakes.

Two more representatives from Bashkiria took part in the All-Russian Contest - the chef of the Monaco restaurant Maxim Lazarev and a student of the Ufa College of Food and Service Industry Artur Gafarov.
