Rospotrebnadzor extended all restrictions related to COVID-19 until January 1, 2022

All quarantine and preventive measures related to preventing the new coronavirus infection spread are being extended in Russia until January 1, 2022. The resolution of Rospotrebnadzor refers to the extension of such restrictions as mandatory mask regime in public places, observance of social distance, mandatory self-isolation of contact persons, and others.
Also, thermometry and disinfection measures at workplaces, a ban on mass events in educational institutions remain in force.
The changes also affected the duration of tests taking for COVID-19 - it is limited to 48 hours and the rules for discharging patients from hospitals for outpatient treatment. Now, to be discharged from the hospital, you do not need to wait for a negative PCR test result. An exception is made for people who live in a communal apartment, hostel, or hotel and a social service institution with a 24-hour stay.
