Bashinform journalist became winner of "My Cherished Bashkortostan" photo contest

Stanislav Shakhov, a journalist from the, won the photo contest "My Cherished Bashkortostan - 2020". The author submitted to the competition a photo of a comet flying over the Shihan Toratau. Among the best, the organizers also named photographs by Oleg Labastov (Tirlyan village, Beloretsk district), Vadim Birgalin (Beloretsk), and Murat Khairullin (Abzakovo village, Beloretsk district). All of them will be awarded diplomas and valuable prizes.

The photo competition "My Cherished Bashkortostan -2020" has been held by the Iremel Natural Park annually since 2013. This year, works were accepted from July to September 2020. Absolutely everyone can take part in it, both professional photographers and nature lovers.

The participants were presented with several options for nominations: landscape, fauna, and flora, protected life.

At the first stage of the competition, 144 works from 24 participants were submitted. Landscapes, living world, and sights of the Iremel Natural Park became the priority in the qualifying round. As a result, 23 works from 8 participants passed to the second round.

The finalists could take part in the final round, who, in accordance with the terms of the competition, provided a printed version of photographs.
