Kuvatov Republican Clinical Hospital was fined for 1414 unreported cases of COVID-19 in Bashkiria

The Kuvatov Republican Clinical Hospital was fined for 1,414 unreported cases of the coronavirus and violation of sanitary and epidemiological rules. The Kirovsky District Court made the decision. The fine amounted to 200 thousand rubles.

As reported in the court, Rospotrebnadzor in the republic during the inspection from September 1 to October 2 of this year revealed violations - the hospital did not provide information to the department about the positive results of COVID-19 tests.

"Failure to take timely, comprehensive anti-epidemic measures in respect of 1,414 unrecorded cases of the coronavirus infection has led to the spread of infection among an unlimited number of people," the press service of the Kirovsky District Court said.

At the hearing, the defenders of the legal entity, in respect of which the proceedings are being conducted in the case of an administrative offense, did not plead guilty, the court noted.

As reported by the Bashinform News Agency, COVID violations were again found in the Kuvatov Republican Clinical Hospital. The Kirovsky District Court of Ufa received a file on an administrative offense against this medical institution under the article "Violation of legislation in the field of ensuring the sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population."

Earlier, the Oktyabrsky District Court of Ufa fined the Kuvatov Hospital for 100 thousand rubles for violations during the coronavirus pandemic.

In the republic, the Kuvatov Hospital has become a hotbed of the coronavirus spread. The Prosecutor General's Office took control of the situation with COVID-19 infection in the RCH. 1200 patients and doctors were in quarantine at the Kuvatov Republican Clinical Hospital. About 3,000 people were in the risk zone for COVID-19 infection, with whom doctors and patients of the Kuvatov Hospital were in contact.
