COVID hospital construction in Sterlitamak enters its final stage

The builders of the new COVID hospital in Sterlitamak are completing the installation of heating, ventilation, and water supply systems in all buildings of the future hospital. A bypass road is being constructed, and the roadway and pedestrian sidewalks are being arranged in the territory of the infectious disease hospital.

The infectious disease department will be equipped with individual boxes with access to the street with two chambers and sanitary facilities, including a shower cabin, a toilet bowl, a washbasin, with oxygen supply.

A surgical department will operate at the Sterlitamak Infection Center, where doctors will perform operations on patients with COVID-19 and other infections.

The center will also include an obstetric and gynecological unit, an admission and diagnostic department (including rooms for computed tomography, endoscopy, ultrasound diagnostics, functional diagnostics, and an X-ray room), a bacteriological laboratory, and a pharmacy.

The hospital will have its own station to prepare medical gases and oxygen, sewage facilities and a diesel power plant, a station for disinfection of vehicles. The builders promise to commission the new COVID hospital by December 1.
