Robot calls people at risk for COVID-19 in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, a robot will call people at risk for COVID-19 and ask if they need help. First of all, this will include the residents of the republic with diabetes mellitus.

According to the United Russia party's regional office, the gadget will only work with outgoing calls. More than 146 thousand people will be called in total.

The robot will ask four questions about the human condition and their need for help of both doctors and volunteers. The information will then be analyzed and transferred to the Ministry of Health, a polyclinic at the place of residence or volunteers.

According to doctors' conclusions, the two main risk groups for the coronavirus in Russia are people over 60 years old and those with diabetes.
