More New Year's Ice Towns will be made in Bashkiria due to requirements of social distance

Open-air events or how to avoid crowds. The topic of New Year's events was discussed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB - Minister of Housing and Utility Services Boris Belyaev with the heads of administrations of municipalities during a videoconference on November 18. The leaders of cities and districts are recommended to equip New Year's Ice Towns now and finish this work by December 10. All festive events in settlements should be carried out outdoors in personal protective equipment and at a distance.
"Because of the pandemic, this year it is necessary to make more Ice Towns than last year, to provide for the arrangement of New Year Ice Towns in the courtyards of residential buildings. Celebrations should not be allowed to be concentrated only in the city center. As a result, crowds cannot be avoided. It is not right. Celebrations and entertainment events that could interest citizens should be organized in different parts of the city," Boris Belyaev emphasized.
Earlier, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, said that by the end of this week, Bashkortostan's government would decide how the New Year's celebration amid the spread of COVID-19.
