+121 per day: anti-record for COVID-19 cases is set in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, a new anti-record has been set for the number of coronavirus infection cases, the republican Ministry of Health reported.

During the day, the number of patients increased by 121 people and reached 12,565.

Besides, the region has registered another 69th death from COVID-19.

According to the ministry, a 73-year-old Ufa resident suffering from coronary heart disease, chronic heart failure, and atherosclerosis became a new victim of coronavirus infection.

To date, 317 patients with confirmed coronavirus are being treated in hospitals, 32 of which are in serious condition.

1,025 people are undergoing outpatient treatment.

44 people were discharged from hospitals over the past day. In total, 11,154 people have been discharged since the beginning of the pandemic, the department added.
