Bannoe Lake in Bashkiria hit Top 3 popular Russian resorts for winter holidays

Krasnaya Polyana in the Krasnodar Territory, Bannoe in Bashkiria, and Sheregesh in the Kemerovo Region were included in the Top 3 destinations for the New Year's Eve to go skiing and snowboarding.

These are the data of the Tvil.ru vacation rental service, which found out which ski resorts are popular in the upcoming New Year holidays.

It turned out that tourists book active holidays for the New Year from 2.5 to 4.4 nights and pay for accommodation from 4.5 to 22.5 thousand rubles per day.

At the same time, the cheapest holiday for the New Year will be in Krasnaya Polyana, more expensive - in Sheregesh.

"The three most popular destinations for winter vacations in Russia were compiled on the basis of accommodation booking data from November 1 to December 31, 2020," explained Oksana Shustikova, head of the Tvil.ru press service.

Thus, the average spending for a vacation in Krasnaya Polyana is 4 466 rubles per day; the number of days booked is 4.17 nights.

The average cost of living in the Bannoe ski resort is 13,667 rubles per day; the number of days booked is 3.33 nights. In Sheregesh - 22,500 rubles per day and 2.5 nights for accommodation.
