193 patients with COVID-19 are in serious condition in Bashkiria

The new coronavirus infection has been diagnosed in 10,956 residents of Bashkiria since the beginning of the pandemic. The increase in the last day was 93 people (minus 2 compared to the previous day).

There are 226 patients in COVID hospitals of the republic, of which 193 are in serious condition. There are 14 patients in the intensive care unit; two are connected to lung ventilators, said the Minister of Health of Bashkiria, Maxim Zabelin, at a Government RB session. The Minister also noted that nine people were discharged per day as recovered, 9,886 for the entire time of the pandemic in the region. According to the Ministry of Health of the republic, the number of deaths has not changed - 54.

As Maxim Zabelin informs, at the moment, 4,780 beds have been deployed for coronavirus patients in Bashkiria, 82% are occupied.

The Head of the Region Radiy Khabirov asked to hospitalize only seriously ill patients to reduce hospitals' burden.
