Russians will have short working week in early November

In early November, Russians will have a shorter working week in connection with the celebration of National Unity Day on November 4, which falls on Wednesday this year. This was reported to TASS by the press service of Rostrud.
"The shortened working week awaits Russians in early November. In connection with the celebration of National Unity Day, November 4 (Wednesday) will be a day off. Thus, in the first week of November, workers will have four days - November 2 and 3, as well as November 5 and 6," TASS quotes a statement from the press service of the Ministry of Labor.
Since Tuesday, November 3 is a pre-holiday business day, its duration is reduced by one hour.
The next shortened working week awaits Russians only at the end of December.
This year, December 31 will fall on Thursday and is a shortened working day. New Year's holidays will last from January 1 to January 10 in 2021.
