11 projects from Bashkiria became winners of Russian Event Awards 2020

The finalists of the Russian Event Awards 2020 National Award in event tourism have become known. The winners are 256 projects from 59 regions of Russia, including 11 from Bashkiria.

In total, in 2020, 390 projects from 59 regions of Russia and three foreign projects implemented in Moldova and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) were announced for the 9th National Award in event tourism, Russian Event Awards. The final of the award will take place on December 8-10 in Yekaterinburg.

The finals are organized by the Tourism Development Center of the Sverdlovsk Region and the Region PR with the support of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Sverdlovsk Region.

The project of the "Birskaya Fortress" historical park reached the final in the nomination "The best natural and recreational area for a tourist event"; "Parade of the Snow Maidens" - the best city street theatrical performance and carnival (population up to 100,000); the "Birskie Dumplings" Festival, the Goose and Honey Gastronomic Folk Festival - the best event in the field of gastronomic tourism.

"Digital Kurultay returns", All-Russian Investment Sabantuy "Trans-Urals-2020", and International Forum on Ethnic Tourism were in the list of the best in the nomination for the best tourist MICE event.

The New Year's Festival "Terra Zima" became a finalist in the nomination "The best tourist cultural event (population over 100,000)".

The Tourist and Sports Festival "Snow Absorbers" was recognized as the best tourist event in sports.

Festival "Legends of Bashkiria. Arkhangelsk district ", Krasnaya Regizla village became the best rural and agricultural tourist event, and the historical reenactment festival "River of Time" was the best tourist event dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory.
