Record number of people with pneumonia is reported in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, the number of pneumonia cases per day reached a record 272 people, the republican Ministry of Health reports.

258 people were discharged from hospitals at the same time.

On October 22, the number of cases of community-acquired pneumonia in the region was 232.

Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that the number of deaths from community-acquired pneumonia this year has almost doubled compared to last year's figures.

From January to October of this year, 1505 people died with this diagnosis, for the same period in 2019 - 860 residents of Bashkiria.
