Medical workers began to use cars of officials to visit patients in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, medical workers go to their places of work, as well as visit patients, by official vehicles of the state power agencies.

Earlier, on October 16, the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov ordered to allocate 100 cars from the car fleet of republican state bodies and give them for service of Ufa medical institutions to provide timely medical care to the growing flow of patients. Due to the massive number of calls, polyclinics need help.

Today, about half of the vehicles from the state authorities' fleet have already been directed to hospitals and started to work, the regional health ministry reports. Tomorrow, all 100 official cars of different brands will be distributed among Ufa medical institutions, basically the capital's polyclinics.

The cars received for service will be used directly for visits to patients. Also, the vehicles will deliver medical professionals - frontliners combatting the coronavirus every day.

The transport is allocated for an indefinite time until the situation stabilizes, the Ministry of Health RB added.
