Medical residents will work in polyclinics to fight COVID-19 in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, medical residents and senior students of Bashkir State Medical University will work in polyclinics to provide medical care to patients with COVID-19 who are treated on an outpatient basis at home.
Today, the decision was announced at a briefing session in the Government by the Head of the region Radiy Khabirov.
According to him, it is necessary to strengthen the outpatient unit's work so that as many patients with coronavirus are transferred from treatment in hospitals to treatment at home.
First of all, future doctors will help polyclinic physicians to monitor outpatients with coronavirus and accompany them on an outpatient basis.
The medical university told the Bashinform News Agency that 285 residents would be appointed to work in the polyclinics. 600 medical residents are already working in medical institutions in the region.
