Ufa restaurateurs will sell desserts and drinks for hospice under construction

Seven Ufa catering establishments have decided to support the Ufa hospice's wards and offer special drinks and sweets to their guests throughout the month.
The campaign is timed to coincide with World Day for Palliative and Hospice Care celebrated on October 10 this year.
PIANOCAFE8 will sell specialty biscuits with nuts and chocolate. "KlukoVka" Bar, MyBAR, and MyBAR-karaoke will raise money for people with incurable diseases from buying any tea or coffee. The Smoky People restaurant, together with H2O, will also contribute by donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of each cup of coffee. "Shawarma Po Piterski" will transfer a ruble from any dessert. The Dorado delivery restaurant will direct funds from the purchase of cheesecakes. ⠀
"Sometimes it seems to us that charity is something distant, something that we cannot afford, but even buying a cup of delicious coffee or tea, we can support others," the coordinator for work with legal entities "Ufa Hospice," Victoria Bogushevskaya says.
The campaign will last until November 10.
The construction of the first hospice hospital in the region is underway in Ufa. It will become the largest in Russia and will have 60 beds and six mobile teams that can help hundreds of children and adults with incurable diseases. According to the plan, the building should be put into operation in the autumn of 2021. Today, in Bashkiria, more than 23 thousand adults and 680 children have a serious, incurable disease that shortens their life span.
