Pneumonia cases increased again by 200 people per day in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, the number of patients with pneumonia increased again by more than 200 people per day.

According to the republican Ministry of Health, from 15 to 16 October, 208 residents of the region were diagnosed with community-acquired pneumonia.

145 people were discharged with recovery after suffering pneumonia.

Mortality from pneumonia is not indicated in the daily reports of the department. Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that the number of deaths from community-acquired pneumonia this year has almost doubled compared to last year. From January to October 2020, 1505 people died with this diagnosis; for the same period in 2019 - 860 residents of the republic.
