Bashkiria Health Ministry reported new data on coronavirus and pneumonia

The number of people infected with COVID-19 and pneumonia continues to grow in Bashkiria. By October 7, the new coronavirus infection diagnosis was confirmed in 9098 residents of the republic. Over the past day, the increase was 47 cases. The number of hospitalized is 108 and discharged after recovery - 11 (total 8234).

Six people in hospitals in the region are in serious condition; one infected needs the support of a lung ventilator. 714 people receive treatment at home. The number of deaths from the coronavirus is at the same level - 42.

For the second week in a row, there has been a steady increase in the incidence of community-acquired pneumonia in Bashkiria. Over the past day, 186 new cases of infection (178 a day earlier) are registered. At the same time, 92 people recovered from the disease. The Ministry of Health does not report the number of hospitalized patients with pneumonia and their condition.

Earlier it became known that in Ufa, general hospitals are being reorganized for COVID hospitals: No. 5, the clinic at Bashkir State Medical University (No. 6), and Infectious Diseases Hospital No. 4 and No. 8. The City Clinical Hospital of Dyomsky District and a new Infectious Disease Center in Zubovo, Ufa District, also treats COVID and pneumonia patients and where there are no vacant beds.
