Radiy Khabirov presented state awards to Bashkortostan education workers and grants to young rural teachers
Today the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, presented state awards to the teachers of the republic in honor of Teacher's Day. He thanked the teachers for their patience and resilience during the coronavirus pandemic when schools were forced to switch to a distance learning mode, and teachers had to master new teaching methods quickly.
"Our task is to enter the top five educational systems by 2024. This is an incredibly difficult goal, multifaceted," said Radiy Khabirov. "However, we will strive for it together".
Radiy Khabirov also presented grants to young teachers who work in villages. Recall that in July 2019, Radiy Khabirov established 100 annual grants in 600 thousand rubles each to support young, promising rural teachers. In 2020, the number of grants was increased to 150, and its size increased to 690 thousand rubles.
"You are the real heroes of our time, as many people do not want to work in rural areas. Nevertheless, you followed the dictates of your heart to go to villages, where sometimes there is no conditions, comfort. However, this is where you work and teach children. Thank you very much for this. We will keep the program to support teachers working in rural areas and will make it even better," said Radiy Khabirov.
