Head of Bashkiria recommended that residents of republic 65+ stay in self-isolation mode

At a meeting with veterans and pensioners of the Aurgazinsky region, Radiy Khabirov asked all veteran organizations and other communities that unite pensioners to give a signal to older people to comply with sanitary standards.

“I will sign changes to the decree on the “High Alert Regime”, where I recommend that residents of the republic 65+ stay in self-isolation. This will not be a ban, but a recommendation to take care of your health and not risk it again. This is a very insidious disease, especially for the elderly, so take care of yourself,” said Radiy Khabirov.

According to him, it will be necessary to take restrictive measures in terms of mass events.

The Minister of Health of Bashkortostan Maxim Zabelin explained that the first stage of influenza vaccination has already been completed. On Tuesday, we received the second batch of vaccine in the amount of 550 thousand, which will be distributed among the medical institutions of the republic, and the category of 60+ residents can receive it free of charge.

“Our hospitals and polyclinics are ready for all viruses, let us help our doctors here a little, and together we will get vaccinated against influenza,” the Head of the Region said.
