First ecological art object in Bashkiria appeared in Ufa

The opening ceremony of the first ecological art object in Bashkiria took place in Pervomaisky Park of Culture and Leisure in Ufa.

Heart-shaped eco-art objects are for collecting plastic caps. All raw materials will be sent for processing, and the funds will go to the development of an environmental project and charitable purposes. The same facilities will soon be installed in every district of the city.

In Ufa, separate collection of household waste goes in two directions. The first is the traditional collection of plastic bottles in 1.4 cubic meter mesh containers. Today, such a collection is organized at 249 container sites in the capital. Also, mesh modules of private companies have been installed in the city.

The second direction is the separate collection of three types of waste at once: plastic, paper, and glass placed in multi-colored containers, each of which is marked with the type of recyclable materials accepted. This selective collection is now in effect at 143 container sites and 37 educational institutions in the capital of the republic.
