Two men died from coronavirus in Bashkiria: 57 and 70 years old

In Bashkiria, two men - 57 and 70 years old - have died from confirmed COVID-19, according to the regional Ministry of Health.

A 70-year-old Ufa resident, in addition to the coronavirus, had hypertension.

A 57-year-old man, also a resident of Ufa, suffered from high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes.

The total number of deaths from the coronavirus is now 41 in the republic.

Over the past day, 42 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Bashkiria. In total, 8,790 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the region since the beginning of the pandemic.

According to the Ministry of Health, 62 infected people are currently being treated in hospitals of the republic, 573 people are being treated on an outpatient basis. One patient is in serious condition. 22 people were discharged with recovery per day.

Community-acquired pneumonia was diagnosed in 151 residents of the republic per day. 88 patients with pneumonia were discharged as recovered.
