625 tons of agricultural products sold at weekend fairs in Ufa

55 weekend fairs were held in Ufa, where 625 tons of agricultural products were sold from August 29 to September 27. To date, the city has identified 12 traditional fairgrounds, designed for a total of 608 trade places. The number of buyers who have visited them has already reached 50 thousand people.

According to the Ufa administration, the volume of supplied agricultural products meets the population's demand for winter storage. The sale of vegetables from local farmers for potatoes, onions, carrots, beets, and white cabbage exceeds 80%.

"To date, 37 rural districts and cities of the republic have become the main suppliers of products to the Ufa fairs," said Azat Ravilov, head of the Consumer Market, Tourism and Consumer Protection Department of the Ufa Administration. "Work is underway with other districts to sign agreements on participation in fair trade. Monitoring shows that the cost of products at fairs is 20% lower than retail prices in stores and retail chains."
