"Legends of Bashkiria. Krasnaya Regizla" festival took place in Arkhangelsky region of Bashkiria

"Legends of Bashkiria. Krasnaya Regizla" festival was held with the Presidential Grants Fund in the Arkhangelsky region of Bashkiria.

The area is located close to Ufa and has excellent potential. There are natural attractions, intertwining cultures, many nationalities, and local government support. The size of the grant amounted to 800 thousand rubles, part of which was spent on paying taxes, and most of it on creating the infrastructure that will remain in Krasnaya Regizla.

According to the chairman of the organizing committee of the festival, Rina Grinberg, the decision to hold the festival there was also made because local residents were ready to invest in the event industry and are interested in tourism.

A presentation and sale of food and other goods produced exclusively by local residents - honey, resin flower decorations, mittens, felt boots, woven carpets, and embroidered towels were organized.

After satisfying consumer interest, the participants went to the covered verandas with tables built for the festival, where master classes were held.

Ludmila Mutsenek represented the Latvian Historical and Cultural Center, which operates in the village of Maxim Gorky.

Now about 130 ethnic Latvians live in the village; their ancestors moved to this region a hundred years ago in search of land. In total, representatives of more than 25 nationalities live in the region.

The whole program of the event was scheduled for four hours. Closer to the final, colorful equestrian performances took place behind the stage, a little further from the festival glade, on a specially prepared site.

According to Olga Sarapulova, Advisor to the Head of the Republic for the Development of Public Spaces, local inbound tourism can also develop through such local events.

"This is a great way to attract guests to your territory, show them your sights, introduce culture, and treat them with national dishes. There is a good chance that people will come back here", Olga Sarapulova said.
