Bashkiria college student wins WorldSkills Russia - 2020

A college student from Bashkiria won the Young Professionals National Championship (WorldSkills Russia - 2020). Zemfira Abdullina competed as a representative of the Birsk Medical and Pharmaceutical College. She took the first place of the championship and was awarded a gold medal. The Minister of Health of the Republic, Maxim Zabelin, wrote about this on his social media.
The final competitions of the 8th National Championship "Young Professionals" (WorldSkills Russia) were held remotely in the Kemerovo region from September 6 to 21. This final became the largest in history and brought together over 3,100 participants, including foreign speakers and representatives from 85 Russian regions.
64 people represented our republic. These were 27 students and schoolchildren, as well as eight people in the "Skills of the Wise" category. The national team of Bashkiria took part in competitions in 22 competencies, including fashion technology, furniture production, architectural stone processing, web design, welding technologies, roofing works.
We add that the capital of Bashkiria, Ufa, will host the WorldSkills Russia final in 2021.
