Ufa will host WorldSkills Russia final in 2021

The final of the All-Russian WorldSkills Russia Championship will take place in Ufa in 2021.
On Monday, September 21, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, took part in the closing ceremony of the National Championship "Young Professionals" (WorldSkills Russia).
The awarding of the winners and the transfer of the competition flag to the Republic of Bashkortostan took place at the solemn ceremony.
More than 2,700 contestants from all regions of Russia, as well as young specialists from 29 countries of the world, took part in the final competitions held in the Kemerovo Region.
Students and schoolchildren competed in 130 competencies within seven sections: construction and construction technologies; information and communication technologies; creativity and design; production and engineering technologies; services sector; transport and logistic; education. Bashkortostan was represented by 86 young specialists in 64 competencies.
On behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the participants were greeted by Tatyana Golikova, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation for Social Policy.
She presented the winners with well-deserved awards and wished them further professional success.
The Moscow team became the absolute champion of the competition.
Diplomas of I, II, and III degrees were won, respectively, by teams from Tatarstan, Kemerovo, and Moscow regions.
The laureates of the competition were congratulated by the Minister of Education of Russia Sergey Kravtsov. He noted that all the finalists of the Championship could be called winners since they had become real professionals in the chosen areas.
Radiy Khabirov expressed his gratitude to the Kemerovo region, which in difficult conditions, held this competition at a very high level. He noted that Bashkortostan, as a strong industrial and agricultural region, famous for its hospitality traditions, would be honored to host the competition. In an interview with journalists, the Head of Bashkortostan emphasized that several new facilities would be built and equipped in the republic for the next final competition.
Russia became part of the international movement Worldskills in 2012. The final of the I National Championship was held in Togliatti in 2013. More than 300 contestants from 42 regions of the country took part in it. The I Regional Championship "Young Professionals" was held in Bashkortostan in 2016.
This year the final was held in Novokuznetsk, in 2019 in Kazan, where 1,500 participants made it to the final, they competed in 92 competencies.
The national team of Bashkiria took part in competitions in 22 competencies, including fashion technology, furniture production, architectural stone processing, web design, welding technologies, roofing works.
