Russia resumes flights with Kyrgyzstan and three other countries

From September 21, Russia resumes flights with Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, from September 27 - with South Korea, which was interrupted due to a pandemic of the new coronavirus infection. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed the corresponding government decree.
“Citizens of these states and those who have a residence permit are allowed to enter Russia through air checkpoints. Russians, in turn, can also freely fly to any of these countries,” the explanatory note to the document says.
The planes will fly to the indicated countries once a week. Air traffic with Kazakhstan (Nur-Sultan), Kyrgyzstan (Bishkek), and Belarus (Minsk) will resume on September 21, with South Korea (Seoul) on September 27.
This decision was taken on September 18 at a meeting of the operational headquarters to prevent the importation and spread of COVID-19 in Russia headed by Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova.
