Bashinform News Agency became most cited media in Bashkiria again

The Bashinform News Agency became the most cited media outlet in Bashkortostan in the first half of the year. The Bashinform News Agency took first place with a citation index of 194.82 in the rating of media resources of the republic prepared by the Medialogia company for the second quarter of 2020.

The second place went to Gorobzor.ru with a citation index of 139.18. Proufu.ru closes the three leaders of the region's media with an index of 65.76.

As previously reported, the Bashinform News Agency topped the rating of media resources in Bashkiria for the first quarter of 2020 with a citation index of 363.80.

The rating is formed based on the media database of the Medialogia system, which includes more than 58 thousand of the most influential sources: TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, news agencies, Internet media. When calculating ratings, news aggregators, and mutual cross-citation were not taken into account, the study explains.

The Bashinform News Agency is the undisputed leader in citation among the republican media. The agency topped the rating of media resources in Bashkiria also in 2019, in 2018, in 2017.
