Part of Great South Ural Trail was marked near Lake Bannoye in Bashkiria

Volunteers from the cities Sibay, Magnitogorsk, and Ufa marked the first 20 kilometers of the trail - a beautiful and vivid section that runs from the Geologorazvedka village through Mount Kutukai, Lake Yakty-Kul, and Mountain Gorge to the ski center Metallurg-Magnitogorsk.
The marking was made with bright orange paint - one of the basic colors of the Terra Bashkiria logo.
The Great South Ural Trail project is being developed by a team of tourist enthusiasts led by Rais Gabitov with the support of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan for Tourism.
In the future, it will become an accessible marked tourist trail, with a total length of about 300 km, consisting of several sections passing through the Abzelilovsky, Beloretsky and Uchalinsky districts.
